What’s behind your chocolate?

Posted by admin on June 24th, 2010 and filed under chocolates | 25 Comments »

Whats really behind Cadbury’s, Nestle, Mars and other big chocolates companies?

What can we do about it?

How are we going to make poverty history?

Please stand united as one with our simularities rather than let our differences divide us and fight poverty together as one.

Life is sacred so please value it and help to end the suffering and poverty.

Holy Quran 49:13
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Buying chocolates and perfume from Dubai Airport duty free shops?

Posted by admin on June 20th, 2010 and filed under chocolates | 5 Comments »

Hi, I have a 6 hour transit time in Dubai Airport. I am planning to buy chocolates and perfumes from the Dubai Airport duty free shops. Is it a good decision and is it cost effective compared to buying them in the US. Thanks.

I will try to answer you based on my experience with Dubai, NY, Dallas, Philly, Michigan, LA, etc.

Buy the perfumes at Dubai Duty Free Shops. They are cheaper there compared to US.

For chocolates, have it purchased in the US. The price is almost the same but the choices are more in the US than in the Duty Free Shop.

I would recommend that you purchase the Dates Filled Chocolate at the Dubai Duty Free. They are unique to GCC only and you wont find them in the US.

My american friends in Buffalo, New York love it.

Chocolate and online bingo – what a combo!

Posted by admin on June 19th, 2010 and filed under chocolates | No Comments »

I like chocolate. I like online bingo. I bet you do too. So what could be better than mixing the two? Nothing at all, which is why you need to head over to Kiss My Bingo.com right now.

Until the 18th June all you have to do is make a five pound deposit at Kiss My Bingo and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a whole year’s worth of chocolate.

Let me repeat, that’s a box of chocolates, sent to your house, every month. Just for you.

What a prize – personally I would do pretty much anything for chocolate, so the chance to get a year’s worth for doing something I love is to good to miss. I’m off to Kiss My Bingo right now to try my luck, I’ll see you there.

I am making small chocolates that I will put in little clear boxes with ribbon for a baby shower and was wondering how much more I should charge for them, above what I spent on the supplies?

About 10 percent more than you spent on supplies, I’d say.

THIS IS IN THE WRONG SECTION!!!
